THE CARE FOR THE HANDCRAFTED GARMENT
“Each suit is the result of 200 operations.”
In our tailor’s shop, the manufacturing of suits, coats and shirts is still made using handicrafts. Taking the precise measurements, our tailors create the “paper pattern” for each customer, which will serve as the basis for the subsequent garments. If the customer does not change in size, he will be able to take new orders choosing the fabric only, avoiding further fittings.
Using the paper pattern, our tailors cut the fabric and create the masculine soul of the jacket: the canvas is composed of a mixture of horsehair, cotton and camel, which determines together, strength and softness.
Then, we test the structural tension of the garment, and finally it’s completed with meticulous care for details, lining and buttons.
